Bhagavad Gita Verse 2.50: The Path of Skillful Action


























Verse in Sanskrit:

बुद्धियुक्तो जहातीह उभे सुकृतदुष्कृते।
तस्माद्योगाय युज्यस्व योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्।।

Transliteration:

buddhi-yukto jahātīha ubhe sukṛita-duṣkṛite
tasmād yogāya yujyasva yogaḥ karmasu kauśalam

Translation:

"A person endowed with wisdom (Buddhi) discards both good and bad deeds in this life itself. Therefore, engage in Yoga, for Yoga is excellence in action."


"बुद्धि से संपन्न व्यक्ति इसी जीवन में अच्छे और बुरे दोनों कर्मों का त्याग कर देता है। इसलिए योग में लग जाओ, क्योंकि कर्म में उत्कृष्टता ही योग है।"
